WHERE IS YOUR SIM CARD?
Prayer, a non-negotiable attribute and culture for every believer cannot be overemphasized.
It is however sad today to know that the experience of the average believer as regards the enterprise of prayer has been that of rising and falling.
This visible inconsistency in prayer can be traceable to one major factor – A broken prayer altar!
Man is the tabernacle of God and within him is the Altar that regulates all his activities called THE HEART. An altar is what makes a temple powerful. And we know from scriptures that our bodies are the temple of God.
The way to know that your prayer Altar has been broken is that you will begin to experience FAINTING.
If your prayer Altar has been broken, what to do is NOT first to venture into more prayers.
Sounds unbelievable right? Read On!
Our heart is like a SIM that helps us capture heaven’s network. It is rather amusing that although heaven’s network is constantly available and accessible, they are unable to connect because their SIM has become faulty.
It is most common for people to think that more prayers are the solution to a broken altar as it will help them to connect more. This thought is nowhere near the truth!
On the contrary, you won’t connect more!
We saw in the scriptures how Angels were ascending and descending in Jesus’ environment. This was because His heart was right. The Bible recorded that He had no guile in Him [1Peter 2:22].
Maybe you’re that person whose room is wide open for people to gossip. Though, God still loves you, however, you are damaging your connectivity because even if you aren’t a contributor to the gossip, you were an active listener!
Do people see you as a fervent believer on the outside while deep in your heart, there is a six-foot hole in which you store offences, yet you still go for a “21 hours” meeting? That meeting will profit you nothing!
Remember, Jesus didn’t have a problem with sinners (He came to save them) but He had problems with hypocrites. So stop the fake smile!
You don’t have to contribute to gossip to be part, you only have to be there to be a part of it.
(Matthew 15:19).
Heaven is right where you are but what makes it accessible is ‘The Altar of the Heart’.
Dear Believer,
Where Is your SIM CARD?
What’s the current state of Your SIM card?
Heaven’s connectivity is strong, but your lack of connectivity is either due to a damaged or nearly damaged SIM.
Put your altar in order!
How then do you repair a broken Altar?
Go back to God in deep and genuine repentance: What you need first is not more prayers, but true repentance and a repair of your altar (your heart).
Revelations 2:5 says “Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent”.
- The first thing to do before your prayers can begin to matter is to call yourself to ORDER! Cut down on flesh.
- In case you have offended men, don’t just ask God for forgiveness, ask Men for forgiveness also.
- Submit yourself to the Cross, the cross is deep enough to accommodate any baggage that you are carrying, and deal with them
- Next is to get washed with the Water of the Word.
- Matthew 5:8 – Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
The ‘Pure in Heart’ do not need to pray to SEE God because the veil in our heart is the carnality we don’t let go of.
